Why am I here? What am I doing? Where am I going? What am I “called” to do with my life? These are questions that we all wrestle with at one time or another. There is a reason for this. . . they are fundamental to a life well lived.
Life is about purpose. Life is about mission. While our circumstances, locations, relationships, and occupations may often change, the purpose (or calling) for our lives should not.
We are here for a reason, during a certain time period in human history. Purposeless lives are sad, bordering on tragic. This world is filled with need.
Additionally in this category, you will see articles about leadership. Whether it’s within the context of our families, friend circles, neighborhoods, or ministries, organizations, and nations, we are all constantly called to either lead or follow leaders. Leadership affects us all.
Personally, for most of my life post high school, leadership has been a constant interest of mine. I have followed many great people. It has also been my privilege and honor to serve in many capacities of leadership, both at personal and organizational levels.
Through this process, I have learned much in this vital area. However, this is still an area where I hope to grow much more.
